Mr. Muffin has announced that he is offering Atlas built F7s, with TMCC, in the early black and yellow Erie Lackawanna paint scheme.  I'm not aware of any Fs in this paint ever being produced in O Guage. Atlas did offer this paint on Alco C424s many years ago and METCA recently offered a custom run of a Lionel FM Trainmaster in the same.  Also recently, this custom paint appeared on MTH Rs3s by Mr. Muffin. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I believe GP9s were offered in this paint not long ago as well (I missed that one).

This paint scheme only lasted a few years as the EL repainted most of those so painted into their colorful DL&W inspired grey, maroon and yellow.  So, it is a rare treat to find these.  I've already ordered mine to join my ever eclectic EL power roster.  Back in the day, there was seemingly no limit to what the Erie Lackawanna would MU together.  This latest offering will allow me to recreate the consists I remember as a youth living along the Lackawanna mainline on the western slope of the Pocono Mountains and in the shadow of the Erie's Wyoming Division.

Better get on board early. I have a feeling that these Fs are going to go quickly.

I love this hobby. Don't you?

Earl

Note: The attached photo shows an F unit with the emergency brake light, inherited from the DL&W, on the nose door. The Atlas version will not come with this feature. EL Dog's Breakfast ConsistCheck out the consist.
