MTA 72 Project
It's not the real deal, but serves a purpose.
The U.P. Industrial Switcher I found on ebay for 39 bucks had been weighted by Lionel or its former owner. With the added 1.6 lbs. of lead squares, it will actually pull 2 clunky RK subway work cars or a string of gravel cars without slipping! I needed a small engine to go through the tunnels.
Maybe someday MTH will get a clue and offer a GE 45T and expand their work car sales status?
