MTH 4000 Transformer | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

When I press the buttons on the transformer sometimes they stick and sometimes they don't.

This is a brand new transformer. Has anyone had this problem?

I have a 4000 from the run in 98. Still works like a champ. I just got a 1000 last week which has the same buttons, no issues yet. I wonder if something sticky dripped in the button pockets.

I have never had any problem with buttons sticking on any z4000 transformer I would have to agree with Allan. no matter weather it is new or old or new in box never seen as issue with sticky buttons. look closely at the edge of the plastic buttons if

something was spilled on the edge of the buttons between the buttons or case. let us know what you find!
