MTH just announced this afternoon that they will be making Premier GP9's in 4 road names, 2 road numbers each.
Allegheny Valley (Carload Express colors)
Great Northern, sky blue scheme
N&W, tuscan/gold passenger colors
ACL, purple/silver scheme
Our price, and I expect all other dealers, will be about $ 469. per engine.
I'll try to have them up for pre-order tonight....

How about BLACK? 
There is Great Northern Big Sky Blue for the GP9 diesel loco.
I have a K-Line Great Northern caboose that needs a Big Sky Blue diesel loco.

What is the fascination with the ACL purple, silver, and black livery...or paint scheme? It has already been done numerous times...like every time they manage to do something ACL. They didn't have any trouble making green and yellow Seaboard (SAL) GP9s.
Most people here...probably never even saw it.
How about that nice modern black and yellow scheme that those of us who even know what ACL is can remember.
How many GP9s did ACL have??
Better yet...make these SCL, please.
