MTH will be announcing production of the Railking Scale  C-30-7's at about 4pm eastern time today.

UP, NS, CSX, SF Kodachrome, and SCL Family Lines

We are also talking with MTH about a special run of the EL/NJDOT or NJT U34CH's.    These have never been done before in O gauge.  The C30-7 car body is almost the same, so its not too much of a stretch.  Ive already asked MTH about the red light on the nose of the engine , that is lit when the engine is in push mode.    Possible paint schemes are EL/NJDOT  (the original scheme, and the scheme on the 3372 that is preserved at the URHS) ), or NJT with the disco stripes.    I would go with the original NJDOT/EL scheme, but all the pass cars that have been made are in the NJT scheme. No one has ever done comet cars in the NJDOT/EL scheme.    So it might be better to do the NJT scheme which matches the all the NJT cars that are out there....

The SF Kodachrome looks great and I will probably buy it.  I am a little concerned that the “SF” is toward the left, rather than right, leaving room for the “SP”.
Just need MTH to announce the matching SP locomotive in the Kodachrome scheme.  Maybe one of the SD-45s which temporarily wore the colors.

I would buy two in the NJDOT/EL scheme. Saw some being delivered via Buffalo's Bison Yard way back in the day. Also, EL used some on freights to Buffalo on weekends before NJDOT put an end to it.

Yea...I worked for the EL around the time..  I may have a pic here somewhere of one of them on the point of a freight leaving croxton.

Thx for the imput.  If MTH can do it with the red light  on the nose that illuminates when n push mode, I'll go for the EL/NJDOT verson...and one will be 3372 thats at the URHS museum

Beth, would you consider ordering a limited custom run of this diesel in the New Hope &Ivyland railroad livery?

Thanks for the suggestion.   Problem is the same with many of the road names....I can sell 12 or 15 of them, but need to be able to sell 30.   I like the NHIR, but i have no idea how deep their following is.     I think someone did the NHIR GP-30 not too long ago.

I can do any paint scheme...the question is ...can i do it and not lose money.....

Beth, I believe METCA has sold out their custom run with Lionel of NH&I's #40, 2-8-0 steam engine scheduled for delivery to buyers within the next month.

Also, Hennings Trains has custom runs with RMT for both NH&I ore cars and a NH&I woodside Bucks County Farms milk reefer so I'd guess there is interest in the NH&I.
