I am trying to replace the decals on the moving film. Has anybody tried this or any

suggestions for a solvent to facilitate their removal? Then I will put on the custom made

decals. Blank film would great to work with, but no sale from MTH parts.

Testors ELO (easy lift off) paint and decal remover is what I use to remove the MTH aquarium film decals. Just follow the instructions for proper use and you should not have any problems.

Boot, Any suggestions for an adhesive when I go to put on the new decals.?....I was going to use Locktite

Some of my HO and N gauge friends believe in "Lockite." Depending upon the materials being used, I would go with what you feel comfortable using.

There have been several fantastic war movies made, "Das Boot" is my favorite. The photos clearly show my cinema bias. This is my second "Boot" project.
