I am thinking of buying the mth arch bridge w white lights. Anyone know how it is powered? I heard 1 accessory voltage....2. Track voltage....3. Battery in pillars....so I am clueless at this point....thanks in advance.

According to the MTH product locator info for the 40-1117 lighted arch bridge, it has a constant voltage regulator circuit for the lighting, which accepts “any” AC or DC input. By “any”, I am sure they mean typical model RR voltages, e.g. 6 to 20 volts.
You power it like any other accessory from a wiring perspective. I had my accessories all set on 14 volts and had no problems with the blinking light on the bridge. I had used all 4 outputs from a Modern ZW transformer/controller using two 135 watt bricks. One controller each for track power, switches, accessories, and lights.

I have the sister to this bridge (40-1115). In addition to the decorative LED lights it does have the flashing red LED on top as well. The pillars on each end of the unit house small electronic boards. One drives the the blinking red LED and the other drives the decorative LEDs. These boards can be removed easily if don't want to use the included pillars.
It takes 10 to 18 volts (AC or DC) to run either board.

Thanks for the info....and yes I won't be using the pillars so it's good the boards can be removed....
