Gary, your a die hard B&A guy. I wouldn’t worry about the cost. Your going to enjoy running it now rather than it sitting on a siding. MTH’s are well built and Bruk’s craftsmanship is top notch. Looking at the prices of today’s trains. You have a bargain. Parts may be sourced. But it was assembled in the USA by a craftsman who takes pride in getting it right.

Yes heck of a lot cheaper than a new engine.  Not that Lionel would ever build this version anyway.   Cost is a concern, that’s why I’m not doing all remaining MTH at once but they will get done sooner or later.  Bruk a busy guy these days.
