MTH cancels Std. Gauge Subways

if i bought one i would've set it up on my living room floor with some small action figures and given them a ride on the ARCTA system which is the subway system in my stories that is over 4 times the size of the NYC system because it serves 4 cities - Allegheny city, Aurora, Lionelville and Red Moose City.

This is a case of "put your money where your mouth is".  I've seen many times on the forum folks beg a company to make train XYZ.  A lot of folks with then say they'll be in for train XYZ.  The company catalogs it and no one pre orders.  It sounds as if the subways had some interests though so maybe not the case here.

i did then,and i do now,,,,if they made 4 sets in different colors,,,i would have ordered them all,,,hey menards,,,,,,,,,,,,

That is one of the original cars that were on display at the New York Worlds Fair in 1939  Not sure who made it

With Mike retired, who at MTH is in charge of New Production?

I am all for producing tinplate subway cars but how about some new tinplate diesels like a Milwaukee Road Erie-bilts?  (Jim Waterman take note!)

Not holding my breath for any new subway equipment. Too bad as I love NYC subway items. MTH is fine but I am still hoping and praying that Jim will be willing to sell me a F series diesel.
