I'm not sure why people feel the need to come and wizz in my corn flakes.  Everyone's taste is different, and the Coors Silver Bullet Train is no different.

Someone should explain to me why all the commercial signs advertising everything under the sun on most layouts are good, but this train is bad!  I have freight cars, tank cars, container cars, etc. all have major company brands on them.

Frankly, I just don't get the animosity to this specific item!   Please, by all means, make me understand why this particular item is a problem?  It's a fantasy piece for Heaven's sake, and IMO a pretty entertaining one!

Next thing you know your weiner-mobile will come under attack.

Reminds me of negative comments that sometimes fly back and forth between 2 railers and 3 railers and scale vs traditional.    It's all the same hobby.   If one particular niche isn't your cup of tea no need to put it down - just don't post anything.

No, anything but the Weiner!

Good thread and stimulating discussion.  We each have fun in our own way and we all need a good laugh or some whimsy now and then.  As for a non-stop commercial it would NOT make me buy Coors Light... it's one of the best light beers around but the genius at Coors is really their marketing.

Making this into an alien/Area 51 train sounds intriguing... who's got pictures or video???  With Halloween and spooky stuff around the corner it's a perfect opportunity.

I'm looking at an MTH 30-1433-1 Coors Silver Bullet Train Set (engine and 3 operating reefers) with PS2.0.  Don't know grade or it's operational status so what would be a reasonable offer?  Trainz offered this at one time for $456 which is more than I'd want to spend.

Did you try the MTH product locator, there is one listed.
