They are amazing.  I like your layout.  Those LED's look sharp.  How did you light that layout?  Are the buildings prelit like that?

The bigger question is WHERE IS THE ENGINE?

So I ordered the Premier set...Engine and the 4-Box Cars.  I got the engine 2 days after Christmas (2017) and the box cars arrived last week. When I picked up the engine, I asked my Dealer to add the 3 passenger cars if possible. So only 1 of the passenger cars (Strathcona 20-61056) came with my box car set. My wife went on the hunt for the Van Horn (20-61057) and found in-stock (on-line) at Legacy Station. She paid for with CC and placed the order. Now we received an email from Legacy Station that the item is no longer available and they refunded her card. My question is...has anyone received the Van Horn car? I suspect that maybe the shipment of these cars was expected but didn't show up? Last night I went back to Legacy Stations web site and this car is sill listed as in-stock.  Anyone know anything?

I'd recommend checking the shipping status for the item on MTH's website.

They really screwed this set up - both for the RK and Premier guys. They promised we'd have it all before Christmas. I got my cars in October/November and am still waiting on the RK engine. I think the Premier cars were delivered before Christmas but the engines are just starting to show up.

I know of at least one dealer refusing the shipment as it is the third year in a row all of his Christmas related merchandise has showed up AFTER Christmas!

Funny to read about these arriving as I just boxed mine back up after taking down the Christmas display last weekend. Yeah, we’re running late on that.

I got the Railking version back in November and they are great cars. Since the Railking loco hadn’t shipped I pulled these behind my Lionel Lines Berk for the holidays. Looked fine.

Be careful: those LEDs are fragile and it’s easy to break something while handling the box cars. Also, caution when boxing/unboxing.

I can see the LED strings are fragile! Wife says they are staying boxed up until next Christmas 2018. Se has claimed this set for "her own" and won't let me play! I still have to get a DCS system anyway to make the best of the Engine features. I'm a Lionel guy running Legacy so now I guess we need both. She also wants the 30" MTH bridge on the layout changed to the new red one with LED Christmas lights. 

I purchased a  red bridge with multi colored lights and it is also very beautiful...

The buildings are just a mix of Dept 56, Lemax and MTH.  I have LED rope lights around the perimeter of my entire layout...it provides  nice ambient light for the trains...makes them look nice....especially at night.

Is there anyway to get more of the LED's that wrap around the cars?
