I am thinking about getting an AIU to go with my DCS system. I have the gas station, Mels Diner, Operating Freight and Passenger stations, Gateman Shack, and the Building on fire sturctures. I took a look at the operators manual and it seem confusing as to how and hook up the power to the wires for accessories with 4 and 5 wire hook ups. Are there any publications out there with better instructions? I don't mind buying it if it really helps.

I bought he 3rd edition, it comes today. I will have to wait until next week to buy the 2nd addition. My funds are running low the wife says.
Assuming you ARE using the app then get the V2 WIU / APP is what you may want as well. If no handheld, then only the V3 for DCS is needed.
I have both the WIU and the handheld. I mostly need the book to wire up my accessories to the AIU. I cannot believe 25.00 for the full APP I guess 165.00 was enough to let you get it for free with the WIU. So what you are telling me is I ordered the wrong book for my needs?
