I have a new MTH 20-20507-1 GE Hybrid Evolution, that is out of warranty, that came with a detached drive gear on the front truck center axle. When power is applied, the motor will spin the center axle only. None of the gears will turn. The gear is not attached to the back side of the center. My question is, how are these gears fastened to the wheels. Are they just glued on and what type of glue should I use to reattach it?0430171203

Dave,

I think this picture will help. This is what you see after you pull off the bottom plate. (This one is a dummy unit, so no idler gears, but everything else is the same.) Keep an eye on the parts for the pickups so you can get them back into their proper configuration. There are no ups or downs to the bushings. Just drop the axle in, reinstall the plate, pickups, and motor, and you should be good to go!
