MTH Engine doesn't receive forward signal but receives reverse command signal. | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

-The AGHR club's MTH Premier SD-70 does not receive the command signal for moving forward, but does receive the command for running in reverse. I have checked the Direction Control which is set to F/R on the remote. When I apply power and lift the wheels they do no turn either the front motor or the rear motor on the Forward command. I've also checked the gears and wheels for any obstruction. Could it be a bad board?

You could measure the DC voltage at the terminals of either motor to see if voltage is reaching the motors in Fwd.

Also check the motor terminals are not touching the motor case.
