The large version might be a bit longer than the stock MTH. Fairly close on the other dimensions. Have no idea on the coil spring spacing or how thick the spring wire is. They don't offer a pic. .
How many do you need ? I bought a bag at a show from old Weaver parts stock from Bob Lavezzi. In doing scale coupler conversions. I've had a few fly away disassembling the trucks. These looked close to the MTH ones. At least they were black with adequate space between the coils. If no one has a working source. I'll track them down and see if they will work.
