Hi Guys, I'm having an issue with a Premier Molten Load car from MTH.  When I ran the car after I received it, the truck sets on the inner portion of the car I noticed were not firmly on the tracks like the two closer to the front of each end were.  When I would run the car around curves, the inner truck sets would rotate out of alignment and go off the rails causing a derailment.  Is there a way to fix this?

Also has anyone else had this issue with these cars?  This is the second car that I got due to the fact that the first one had this issue and so I returned it to the dealer as they thought it might have been a manufacturing defect.  When I got the new one, the car had the exact same issue as the first which I described above.  So so far this is the only MTH car that I've gotten that has been an absolute pain in the neck for me.

I really don't want to have to sell this car if this is something that can be easily remedied.

If anyone else has had this experience with the MTH Molten Load Cars and has found a way to remedy the problem, I would love to know .

Appreciate you guys help.

Thanks,

Drew

Jon, are these kits easy to install?

I had spoken with MTH at the end of last year about the issue and they had said that I could either send it to them for repair which would take a very long time for it to come back since they are understaffed (4-6 weeks before it would arrive) or I could send it to one of their service techs to have it fixed.

To be honest, after talking to them I am tempted to go with the later especially if the technician can do the same thing in a quicker time frame.

Is this something you could do?
