MTH Parts Accessory Kit

This kit has been available for several years.  We've (LHS) had the kit as part of our in-store common parts availability for our MTH customers.  In fact, we've re-ordered certain groups of parts (e.g., traction tires, bulbs, et al) as needed.  

It is a tremendous value for what is received, for sure.  However, unless the individual is planning on getting into the repair biz, I'm not sure the typical hobbyist will find it worthwhile.  Club purchase?.....maybe so.

Be interesting to hear of others' experience in this kit's purchase/usefulness.

And, yes.....we would be interested to see the orange/blue guys offer something similar for their vast product line.

I ordered one of these kits a couple years ago from Forum sponsor Mario’s Trains when they were running a 15% off with free shipping sale.  Combined with Mario’s already discounted price, I paid less than $300 shipped.

As KD mentioned above, the kit contains way more parts than would likely ever be needed by the typical hobbyist...certainly more than I will ever need.  

However, it was a tremendous value for the price paid, and IMO provides peace of mind when emergency repairs are necessary.  Chances are I will have the part I need right there in the kit and can move on with the repair without having to order parts and then wait for them to arrive.  It’s hard to put a value on that for an impatient person like myself!

I've purchased (2) of these sets at local train shows with only an item or two missing/used from each one for $75.00 each. I've got way more of these parts than I'll ever need.

MTH does not show 60-1365 in stock.  Does anybody how I can order one?
