MTH Premier 5-Car Ribbed NYC Passenger Sets - What's the Difference?

I was looking for a set of these cars to replicate a Penn Central passenger train with heritage NYC equipment. Problem is, MTH has made 6 different sets since 2000 and other than the car names and numbering I can't tell what the differences are design-wise. Can anyone help me out on this?
