MTH Premier US Army 60 ft Flat with Bradley APC

Joe  here are 2 photos of the MTH US Army flat with the Bradleys.     I also included a Weaver flat car with a military grader where I chained it down to the deck and added wood blocking too.     Note on photos I have of the Bradleys on flatcars the gun barrel is removed as are the machine guns and TOW missle launcher.     If any one has questions just ask.

I started a military train. I didn't get very far until I get more money.

I do have some Abrams tanks ready for Atlas 2 rail flats. I ordered the MTH hummers on a flat and the 6 wheel truck? too. I wanted the whole sets of each.

I almost ordered the Bradleys but the rest is in desert camo and those aren't available in that?

I run 2 scales. So I am also building one in g scale.....someday.

I like the chains for realism. MTH used to include them.

I buy the chains from art supply store Michaels.      They have different size links.    I once paid a hobby store for 100 ft of blackened metal small link chain and found it was too delicate once you try to tighten them.    Then my wife suggested I go to the Findings area and check out the various chains and other items.      I have over 70 military flat cars with various 1/48 scale Abrams, Bradleys, Humvees, LAV-25, LAV TAU, LAV Command and Mortar carrier APC and military construction equipment.      Some where I have added pictures of my loads in a thread on this forum.   Not sure if it is still here on the forum.

You found the photos nice going.     I actually have more than what is in that picture.   I sold some off and then built some more.   VBG.   I still have a Patriot Military battery to do ( 4 loads), 4 Tamiya M1A1 Abrams, 5 Tamiya Humvees, 2 Marine Corp LAV-25 by Kitech, 3 Resin Humvee Ambulances.      Wish tamiya made some M113 APC and M577 Command vechicle.     Some day i will build all of the kits.     

Are these Bradley’s  1:48 or 1:43?
