I have a samsung android phone which I upgraded a while back to the premium app at $20. I also had the $5 version of the app on my apple I pad. Just never got around to updating the app on there. I had never really used the ipad much to control the trains. It was just to big to hold in one hand vrs. my samsung phone which is a note 5. So I decided to try it today and kinda liked it. Then I went to use some of the premium app features and it said I needed to upgrade to the premium version at the $20 cost. Am I correct in that because I have two different platforms on my two devices Ios (apple) and android(samsung). I will have to pay $20 for each device I wish to have the premium app on? If so this is a real bumer! Was thinking of getting a smaller used tablet sized like the ipad mini or close to use for the dcs app at some point. Maybe I will rethink that altogether.

That's correct.

Why? They're two different applications distributed by two different companies, Apple and Google.. If you want two different applications, you have to pay for two different applications.

For wat we spend on trains, an extra $24.99 (the actual price) is peanuts.
