I recently purchased a SW1500 switcher by Railking (30-20451-1). The instructions state to add smoke fluid to the stack, however the picture doesn't match the engine (picture shows one stack on a modern looking diesel whereas the SW1500 has two stacks). The box nor catalog lists a smoke unit, and I don't want to add smoke down the stacks if there's no smoke unit. Tried MTH's website under "support" and downloaded a bunch of files that my computer cannot open. Tried calling MTH service and got an answering machine. Anyone have the PS3 version of this engine?

Thanks for the replies.

Even without smoke unit and no cab figures, this is a neat looking engine, reminiscent of my boyhood Marx Switcher. The horn arrived bent, so I gently bent it back, hopefully not weakening the metal. I'll lube this puppy up and give her a test run this weekend.

I don't know why they didn't add cab figures as they equal > play value, which is what I thought Railking represented. Has anyone added them to this model? There appears to be the one motor exposed in the cab, and not much room to the sides.

Hey Paul ,                                                                                                    I did add figures to the cab by filing parts of the figures to fit up close to the windows and and get clearance for the motor.

Since the motor is exposed I decided to apply flat black paint to as much of it as possible .   It does stand out but I didn't add any kind of shrouding .

Overall it looks better than how it came without the figures.

On Dummy units i am adding a full cab interior.

My Kline Conrail unit has a full cab interior because the motors are in the trucks.
