  1.  See where posts indicate MTH remote keeps shutting down.  This is because the positive battery contacts can loosen, and battery will pop up slightly.  If a contact moves, slide it down and put a couple drops of super glue on the area and slide back.  Careful not to get glue on the contact.

Nice tip. Is this because the battery pops up against the lid it slides the contact as well? Believe it was Barry who mentioned about adding a thin piece of foam to assist in keeping the batteries in place. Prior to doing that had the "dark" remote happen a lot, will look at the contact location now.
