I have a MTH SD70ACe HO engine. Well using stock settings it runs fine (although takes off like a rocket) and when i reach top throttle and drop it quickly i hear brake noises. Using JMRI settings it is set to sMPH in motor settings (stock setting). Well testing scale MPH this thing is going around 89 mph. So i change motor settings to PWM (CV52 to 1). Then set PWM Max voltage to 199 which sets top speed at 70 mph scale speed which is what that engine is rated for. The issue comes in when i lower the throttle now no brake sounds. Is there a CV to change how this behaves it sounds like it only works when the engine is set to sMPH?
