I currently have one MTH Z1000 powering 2 loops on a 5x8 table. After today, loop will be extended to 12ft. Would my Z1000 handle two passenger trains? One is an MTH AEM-7 proto 2.0 with 5 lighted amfleets, four of the amfleets have led lights and the other has incandescent lighting. On the inner loop, there will be a four car SEPTA mu set with led lighting. I'm not worried about the freight locomotive when I run it because that along with the etd at the back of the train shouldn't use too much power. I'm thinking about purchasing the Lionel 180 watt transformer. But if I don't have to, I won't.
