My favorite Diesel

Neat thread, the FM’s are definitely near looking diesels, as are many others, however, I love the Lionel Sante Fe F3’s. Happy Railroading 

started out with a 2330 GG1...don't know how it happened but I got 10 ....and my all time favourite the PW and MPC Alco fa...got 25+......stay safe all...

I have many, but for some reason I run this one the most EMD FT'. 

Quarter Gauger 48, beautiful diesel, neat color scheme, is it called, the black widow? Cool. I to like the GG1’s, they would be my second favorite. Happy Railroading 

This old MTH Premier Boston & Maine GP-7 #1563 with PS1 is my favorite diesel although I have numerous newer diesels with better detailing and probably better sound. I especially like this engine because I’m interested in the Boston & Maine Railroad and have a small layout that models New England. This engine has always run well and has been trouble-free – another reason I like it.

My favor is split between my EMD BL-2 in demonstrator dress and my YS&T switcher because that is a little bit of home.

I agree with Melgar but my version is on order from 3rd Rail, but I should have it before winter arrives again.

Love the trainmaster but Virginian never had a blue and yellow engine.....they were black and yellow.

My favorite Diesel engine is the Lionel SD60e Legacy Go Rail. Runs and sounds great, love the front and rear ditch lights (Lionel should do this on all modern diesels). The best thing about the engine was the great deal I got it for at York (under $300). Would love to add a Veterans unit but the deal I got on the Go Rail is hard to beat.

Patiently waiting on my CNJ versions which will be the first to have the flat long hood for passenger service offered in mass produced O.

It would be hard to decide between the GP30 or the DL-109, especially if/when I get a 109 in two-rail O:

I already have a pair of Custom Brass GP30s in O, although the above photos are of my HO models.

Seems like the SD70 Ace's have become my favorite diesel.

My favorite is this special run by MTH for Mr. Muffins Trains of a Monon F-3. I like the look of the fixed front pilot with scale coupler.
