I want to thank the forum for the info on Lionchief+ engines that I have absorbed here.  My first LC+ loco arrived, a PRR Mikado, and it functions beautifully. I have it pulling a long(ish) Ringling Bros. Circus train, complete with heavyweight passenger cars, and sharing a track with the MTH P2 PRR passenger set, with additional cars from the LC Broadway Limited set. The fact that both of these engines have superb speed control makes sharing this not very big loop a pleasure.

I will certainly be adding LC+ to my layout in the future. The features are superb. You folks were right.

Finally, a plug for forum sponsor Mario's Trains: the price was great, the shipping free, the product well boxed and the service spot on.

Looks good, I have a LionChief Plus GP7 Boston and Maine that was made for the LCCA that I like a lot. One of the club members belongs to the LCCA and he sold it to me. I'm going to get a GP20 or GP38, FT and a Mikado eventually. I know the GP20's and 38's are on back order which is the ones I want the most. The FT is a little out of my price range for now.

DSCN1671DSCN1633PDXTRAINS,

Glad you like your LC+ PRR Mikado, my wife presented me with the LC Hallmark/Lionel Santa Toy Maker Express this Christmas, I run it on the inner most Loop of my Christmas layout.  I see you also have an inner RealTrax loop, just wanted you to know your LC+ has no trouble running on its also.
