Hello all,
I had a plated tank car with severely damaged finish. Had planned on a repaint for a while and finally finished it. Black basecoat is Rustoleum gloss black from a rattle can, dome is air brushed with Testor yellow, lettering is from k4 decals in S scale and finish coat is flexible SEM Color Coat satin clear. I like it better than any of the Lionel versions of this car. Check it out.

Just for spits & giggles, you should know that MY very first paint job in 1971 was an unmitigated horror! Thankfully, after professionally restoring trains for over 50 years I've gotten a little better... LOL!
