Not perfect, but I am happy with my first attempt - it ran the first time I put in on the road, although I had to spent a day widening the tunnel and raising its internal height (again . . .!!!), and finally just removing the hotel in the middle of the southern loop - the road just passed too close to it.  The gearbox is very noisy - its basically the same as did good duty on the cars I built, but this thing is running at higher voltage to get more power: one thing I learned is it needs about two and half times as much power as even a heavy (Brooklin) car - most that the due to the load when having to pull the trailer through curves.  That power makes my normally quiet gearbox noisy (probably not good for expected lifetime either).  On the other hand it can carry a big battery pack in the trailer which is good.

I am pleased with it, just because it runs well although does not like tight curves or low tunnels it realy shuld not be running on my Main Street loop.  And I geared it for "country road" speeds so it it is too fast for the city.  Once I get my country road built, that is where this and other bigger vehicles will run, and only where they will run.  But until then I have no place to test it except here.

All in all I am pleased and taking a break for a day or too, and then on to an even bigger big rig.

You an see it circle my downtown loop, jumping a curbe or two while doing it, on Youtube, here:
