I finished the bridge I got from Charles Ro on the bargain table. I found it hand painted over and looking kind of sad. I took it apart and sent it off to a good friend who stripped the paint off for me. When I got it back I painted it close to it's original colors and refinished all the original hardware.

Thank you all for the kind words I have wanted a Hellgate for a long time. Great feeling of accomplishment to restore such a significant bridge in Lionel history. John; As far as the 400E tender that's simple; I bought a pair of American Flier couplers and installed one on the Vanderbilt tender. I like AF cars better than 200 series cars and I think they look pretty good behind the 400E.
