Brian, those pics were terrific,  what a great way to show off your trains.  You have them in the entire house.  I'm lucky to have them in two rooms and the 2nd one is a bedroom that we are no longer using and we keep the door closed all the time.  I'd love to have an entire house to put my trains.  Everything is very nicely done and you show off your trains in a really nice setting.  I like your shelfs that you have built for them.  I loved the ones with your dog in them, I'd say the pooch loves the trains too and loves to show them off.

Great job and thanks so much for sharing, I'm jealous but thanks for a great tour.

Hello friends,

I have really enjoyed all of Brian's posts, and I am really impressed with his "Train Room."  All the replies prompted by his topic and subsequent posts have also been very entertaining, but LeapinLarry has inspired me to post a reply of my own.

This Is My Train Room, all 12' by 10' feet of it (including the so-called work bench area), and clearly it is at the other end of the spectrum from those posted by Brian, LeapinLarry and others:

Some of you may recall a couple of these pix from another past Topic: This is my Work Bench."

I need another house!

Cheers!

Alan

Upstairs, I have 7 small layouts in four rooms (a fav movie).  The bathroom is safe, and the kitchen is clear; though that's in constant peril of a test loop taking permanent root  ..

...and there is also the hibernating 15x30 bench in the dungeon

...and now I don't feel as self-conscious about it all

Think of all of the extra options you can have if you remove that toilet, fridge and sink!

FL9TURBO2, I really like your layout, the Big cranes, the neat pictures on the walls, and the ad for Symbicort, amazing, just kidding about the ad on your TV, however, if you pre-ordered any of the theatre cars, you would have quite a View. Thanks for posting your really nice layout...Leapin Larry

Thanks Larry you have a awesome train room like all of us you put your heart and soul into it, Its nice just to sit back and enjoy the fruits of our labor, I have several videos of the layout from a trains perspective I will add to this thread

I was trying to think of something clever but nothing comes to mind.  Who is you favorite manufacturer?

Weaver Models.........

When I decided to get back into trains in the 90's first I bought Williams brass and then Weaver started coming out with really nice brass engines so I bought them.  Then it was the E8's and the passenger sets.  The later I found out it was Mike that was behind those items.  Whatever, whoever did it, the Weaver stuff was very cool.  You have a very nice collection.  Like me, most of your problems can be solved with more space and more shelving.
