Mystery circuit board | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Gary Dennis 022217OGR Forum Member DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

In the box for the North Pole Central Passenger car 2 pack # 6-35250 that I purchased were two small circuit boards labeled 6-35219 Main PCB 00. Pictures are attached.

Can anyone offer a clue as to what these boards are for. I'm guessing either a rectifier to use led's or an anti flicker board, but, those are just guess's.

Any help is appreciated.

Makes the interior lights flicker. The 555 timer chip was a clue, but the part number is for the car.

The irony is deep. It is there to intentionally flicker the lights for a spooky effect.
