Many topics on this, but the Swiss have an ultra-modern privately owned 1000mm gauge line the Rhaetian Railway. While not a preserved line, they do have many examples of their historic equipment still operable. My favorite is a self-propelled 0-6-6-0 rotary snow plow. Most plows required engines to push them.

"Simply" do an internet [ image ] search for 'RhB Xrot 9213" for lotsa views.
