My family went to see the tree last week. The trains are the highlight for me as well as the Nativity. My favorite was the big bridge with the elevated track.

I notice that you run flat cars with mesh to catch change tossed in by viewers. Do you have have any problems with derailing or shorts due to the change building up or getting caught on the track? Also, how much to does this add to the pool of funds?

I thank you for the efforts to put the trains on display for so many to enjoy.

Mr. Bill,

Glad you were able to visit the tree and enjoy the display in person. So far the coins have not been a problem. They do contribute to the funding of the display but only represent a portion of what it takes to keep it going. We don't receive public funds but are fortunate to have the support of a number of organizations; see our web site for a listing: http://nctrr.com/. Also the volunteers have provided some of their own structures and other materials for the displays.
