My trolley will run on an elevated platform, 6-7” above the base layer of the commercial district. I have elevators at two stops, but would like to add stairs. I’ve thought of kit bashing a pedestrian walkover bridge, but wonder if there’s not a more realistic source for stairs

Do a google search for O scale wood stairs. Bass wood, may be the best material.
Are you looking to wrap the stairs around the elevator? The I need the outside dimensions of the elevator(s).
Also, do you want landings if so at what height(s).
I'd also add handrails maybe light opening for LEDs
If you are looking for really wide stairs try Plastruct Step-12 (7 inches), otherwise STAA-48.
If you are looking for wood try Rail Scale Models RSM-D3052
Wow! Great answers guys. The elevator shafts are “made” - only in my mind. I’ll pursue these suggestions and also get back to AlanRail when I reach that point of actual construction.
