Unfortunately we are repurposing the room where I have a 6'x10' Fastrack layout. I only have room for a 6'x4' layout now. I know it's small but I would like to do something rather than nothing. I thought about changing to S gauge but I'd rather not have to buy new locomotives, track, rolling stock, etc. Any ideas for a O gauge Fastrack 4'x6' layout would be appreciated!

Maybe a basic oval with an elevated circle ? Or a small graduated trestle for 1 long side ? This works if you have a cruise controlled engine, maybe ok if just conventional.
In that size, you are pretty much limited to a small oval with a couple of single-ended sidings in the middle, if you choose. Even in "S," you wouldn't be able to do much more than concentric ovals.
