This will be the first train show my son and I will be attending. If anyone is going or is familiar with it please let me know anything I should know.
We will be going Sunday to avoid the NC State football game on saturday.

Im going on Saturday, we plan on getting to fairgrounds early to avoid the football folks...I know the Albemarle railroad club from my area is going too...go in on the Kerr Scott building entrance side and it isn't too bad when there's a game going on....Its a good show...Lots of everything, and some dynamite HO layouts....don't forget about the TCA show at the Kerr Scott building 1st & 2nd of December...….last year, that was a good show too....and right before Christmas...its icing on the cake!...…………...Pat
Thanks for the info...we are coming in from winston so it will be early no matter the day so we can get out early.
Is there a definite advantage to goin saturday?
Cracker Barrel for breakfast, train show, then Outback Steakhouse for dinner....gonna be a good day Tater!...……………..Pat
the advantage for me is my wife drives!...
its a good show, the NRV club puts on good event....its not huge like a tca event, but fairly good sized.....you picked a good one for you and your son!
