Took some pics of this beauty. The quality is perfect. This is the first box with the new Concord North Carolina address on it. IMO soon Lionel will move all of operations to Concord.

Wow...it sure is a beauty! When these were first cataloged I was very tempted to add an S scale loop to my layout.

The SD70's MSRP out at $479.99. You get Legacy, Conventional AC, Conventional DC (pure DC, not pulsed) and DCC operation all in one friendly package.
The SD70 has independent swinging pilots like the vision GE Hybrid in O, plus screws and spacers so you can also fix the pilots and install Kadee couplers if you so desire.
Desplaines Hobbies offers CoalPorters under their S Scale America branding. IIRC they're around $45.00 each

I'll grant you, it's not the easiest website to navigate.
The CoalPorters come equipped with HiRail wheels and Flyer compatible couplers installed and scale wheels included in the box. The customer supplies Kadee's if they so desire.
