Five new built-up shadowbox offerings have just been posted on the website. Check out them out at the bottom of the Home Page. This is the first release of buildings in our CityScape series, aptly named CS-01. There are five versions ranging in 5 to 8 stories. At the moment we are looking at these as production items rather than inventory items. We ask that you allow up to four weeks for production if the particular model that you are looking for is not in inventory. You may order clear or translucent white window glazing.

CS-01 will be the first in a series of buildings that are 5-stories and higher, can be produced in various heights, and will be eventually available as built-up shadowboxes, shadowbox kits, built-up buildings or building kits.

If you order for delivery at York in April, I will gladly refund the shipping that the Wix website will charge.

The first five images show the composite elevation. The sixth image shows the painted shadowbox prototype  and the seventh image shows the building prototype.

I believe that I now have the process down to add items to the store and have them better organized at the same time. The Cameron Apartments shadowbox kits are now in a CityScape Shadowbox Kits pulldown menu. Likewise, the original Union Pacific Trackside Warehouse kit is now in a Warehouse Shadowbox Kits pulldown menu. Will work to get Corrigan Station (CS-3) shadowboxes and shadowbox kits up next.

We have decided to separate our building models into four categories:

1. StreetScape (SS) buildings will range in height from 2- to 5-stories;

2. CityScape (CS) buildings will range in height from 5-stories and up, and will typically have various height options;

3. Trackside Warehouses (WH) wil be industrial and commercial style buildings, some with loading docks, that could be placed along railroad rights-of-way;

4. Manufacturing Warehouses (MWH) will be industrial and commercial style buildings, some with first floor window and door variations, that are suitable to place along streets or railroad rights-of way.

We have not listed buildings yet as some details are still being worked out. 

The 1st Series of StreetScape shadowboxes was introduced at York two years ago. The six building 1st Series was produced in limited quantities and is mostly sold out. Look for the 2nd Series at York this April.

We are working out the interior lighting details for the built up buildings. Rayxi just put together the Pickwick Hotel built up building prototype this afternoon. You saw the shadowbox prototype when you visited.

We really like your overhead building connector suggestion. An ideal use will be to connect the Corrigan Station Walnut and 19th Street shadowboxes. Here's the two 5-story prototypes placed next to each other. 19th Street is on the left and Walnut Street in on the right. Keep in mind that these are unpainted prototypes.

The Corrigan Station built-up shadowboxes and shadowbox kits are up on the website. This includes the Walnut and 19th Street elevations, in 5- story original design or 10-story as-built versions, and all in built-up or kit form. We can also produce Corrigan Station as a complete building with Walnut Street as the main elevation (13-1/2”) wide and 19th Street as a 2-bay (8”), 3-bay (11-3/4”) and 4-bay (15-1/2”) depth. Lots of possibilites! Reach out to us directly if interested.

Another consideration if you have the space for “depth stacking” is our offset shadowboxes. In each 12” or more  of length, the side gets deeper by either 1/2” or 1” so the building “flat” is technically no longer that against the backdrop surface. This is our Lehigh University color-schemed (brown and white) three piece UP Trackside Warehouse (WH-1). It is 1” deep on the left side and 3” deep on the right side.

I was thinking about stacking them 3D so to speak besides just next to each other.  in other words a back ground building (or face in this case) and then some in front of that but with gaps.  sorta just trying to imagine how'd that look.  truthfully i wouldn't start with that though.

Is this what you had in mind??? These are a couple of Doug's pieces that I am in the process of placing on the layout (all of these will eventually be flat against the wall). You probably wouldn't want a building with a loading dock in back (that's all I had available), but Doug offers several options without the docks.

The bridge looks great. 

I have a similar application for this except mine is in a corner of the room where two double tracks disappear through a wall. 

I was thinking of something like this, except turning the building on the left so it would be flat against the far wall and the bridge would connect to the front of that building. 

The other side of the bridge would connect to the side of the building as in your example photo.

Further development of an overhead connector for the Corrigan Station shadowboxes. We're looking at available options of either straight or staggered louvered windows, see-through or paneled arch and see-through or solid rear wall. Here's one of the versions:

That is way cool. If your doing a survey (which seems to be popular around here today), I'd like the window section to have a solid back wall, but the arched section to be open.
