I am in the accumulation stage of buying 50’s and 60’s American Flyer for a 12’X8’ layout. I have no design skill whatsoever, so I need help in a layout design. Any help would be appreciated in a design that would incorporate the following American Flyer and Plasticville. I will be using American Models track, Homabed roadbed, and Woodland Scenics for scenery.

I know this is a large task to ask someone to help with. If I am out of line by asking this, please direct me in the right direction as to where to ask for a layout plan. Thank you everyone.

Hello - First of all, I think I'd call a halt to the accumulation stage.  It seems like you have plenty of great equipment already for an 8 X 12 layout.

Me, I'd get my track and just start laying it down on the floor.

There are computer programs that design track systems.  Perhaps someone familiar with them can weigh in.

Best of luck and have fun!
