I guess some of you will drink the Lionel Kool-Aid or in this case the Lionel Romulan Ale.

Seriously, if you have a local dealer go get a catalog. Better yet buy a train item or two while you are there.

How did the car cross the neutral zone?

Neutral Zone-Isn't that the area between Blue and Silver Halls? Warning the Romulan Ale tank car is not recommended for those of Klingon decent.

A friend leaked one of the "fantasy" engines...If ya'll have seen the T1, my reaction is a big fat NOPE.

Lionel's fantasy schemes only worked on certain engines. I liked the Greyhound 9000 and the Daylight Cab Forward...but the 49er Challenger, "Blue Goose" 3751...and now this?
BLECH

Thats my reaction. Sorry Lionel, I may never be a scale operator but you've lost me with that one.

I just saw the catalog. Honestly the starter sets and low end offerings are nothing short of brilliant.  The Polar Express Elf work train, the Toy Story set and yes the Frozen 2 set are incredible. The smoking Area 51 boxcar is cool and so is the new Area 51 set with the Green lights in the Fast Track.

I picked up my catalog today, and Scott was right, a great selection of low end sets. If I was restricted to only one item in this 2020 catalog, it would be the Ronald Reagan "Berlin Wall" boxcar. Have fun picking and choosing ...

Any postwar inspired items?

Deluxe F3 set, Santa Fe F3 freight with milk car and log dump car.

Nice! I assume conventional operation?

LC2.0 027 F3s

Okay, great. Lion Chief 2.0 works. Several control options, including conventional. Looking forward to seeing this set on Monday.

Edit: If I'm not mistaken these will be the first LC F3s produced. They've done the FTs but no F3s.

Any other road names of the F3s?

Lionchief 2.0 F3's are the traditional postwar style.  Available in NYC ,PRR, UP, SP Black Widow, and as a set offering: 120th anniversary set of ATSF warbonnet and freight cars.

Yes, first LC F-3s. But warbonnet with freight cars?

New 15" plastic passenger cars still somewhere off in the distance, apparently.
