I just got my new Chessie SW7 w/Bluetooth from the Lionel 2018 Vol. I catalog. It is very well detailed and the colors are crisp. It runs smoothly and it has a pretty good smoke unit. I had a hard time deciding which road name to pick back during the pre-order. I can't wait to see the others as they start to roll in.

Very cool! Enjoy her.
Nice! Is the horn the same as the NW2?

Well that answers that.
Sweet engine. Can’t wait to see more and I’m thinking about the New York central sw7
Good looking switcher, the little switchers are a joy to operate.
Very nice!

So is it a yes or a no? Very nice engine and layout, enjoy!
Pondering an ACL since it appears they are never gonna do F's in Purple.
Beautifully done, very nice bright colors, thank you for posting. Happy Railroading.

I don't have one of the NW2s, so that is why I put up the video of the demo.
My arrives tomorrow. (Jan. 5th). I purchased the Maine Central. I'll post some pictures tommorow evening.
Cool stuff looking forward to seeing the Maine central. I have a pennsy nw2... love it!
I just picked mines up this past Saturday. The same exact one.

My Maine Central #331 has arrived. Runs fine. I didn't test the smoke. I only ran it on a temp 20ft piece of track on the floor. I ran it using the Lionchief app. I prefer my Cab1L. But Bluetooth operation was the easiest at this time without a layout. No broken parts found during the unboxing. 👍 I was nervous about this after recently reading about Lionel QC issues. I'm not sure if the maroon color is correct. Looks a bit too red/pink. I've never seen factory fresh MEC or Boston and Maine maroon. MEC was mostly Harvest yellow in my youth. Maroon engines were faded and dirty or repainted green or yellow.

I would get one that is painted in the Conrail- Express" paint scheme!
Nice thread. Great looking and sounding switcher. Nicely detailed. Great to see a success story after reading some of the other threads.
