I am starting a project to construct a jet and rocket fuel storage facility. The fuel components will be shipped by rail and pumped into the tanks. After they are mixed together they will be shipped out by truck. There will be a large open top floating roof storage tank that will hold the jet fuel. The rocket fuel components will be stored in the two spheres, two horizontal tanks and the two vertical domed roof tanks. A truck loading rack and office building will be constructed at the other end of the facility.

'I'll be following this one! Sounds great! Terry
Alan this project sounds like a lead into Jefferson Starship or the great sound from Elton John and Rocketman.
I can tell that there are no steam engines running the main line on this modelers main line.
Homeland Security should be involved in this project. At least I will be watching.
looking forward to this one
Is it made to explode when a Lionel cruise missile hits it? If not, you should totally START OVER! 🤣😂just kidding. That looks fantastic!!
Alan, I'm always amazed by your spiral staircases.
Alan are the clear dome ends a different plastic? If so does it make it difficult to bond them to the cylinders?
They are two different plastics so zi use plastruct plastic weld glue on them instead of the bondene.
Thank you Alan.
Question - any particular reason why you use clear plastic domes rather than the gray ?
I do not specify when I order so I use whatever they send me.
I construct models as a hobby part time.
I build specific structures at my customers requests and do not have an operating layout.
That is looking absolutely fantastic! Coming along great! Details are showing up well! Great work! Terry
Beautiful job, I want one! If I only had the space...
Excellent work as always
Wow!!!! Very Impressive!!!!
Great looking facility ! How big are the spheres in O gauge? Thanks,
Alan - as always, great work!
What is Tetroxide?
The spheres are 5 inches in diameter. That equates to 20 feet in diameter in scale.
I found this on the internet when I looked up rocket fuel components. it said Tetroxide is an oxidizer.
Wow, very nice work...professional work.
Absolutely fantastic. I like the NASA meatballs.
Beautiful work as always.
What do you do for 'red' elbows for the red tubing? Do you bend the tubing or buy elbows?
On the 1/8 inch diameter and smaller piping I use the insert wire so I can bend the various colored piping I use. For 3/16 inch diameter and larger pipe, I paint the elbows with a color close to the pipe color.
Unreal, thanks for continuing to share your outstanding work!! Always look forward to seeing what you have up next!! Happy Holidays
Another great model. I'm running out of superlatives to describe your work.
What a beautiful project. Such detail! I'm amazed at the level of your craftsmanship.
