Unheated basement in a 100 yr. old rental house. Mix of brass and nickel silver sectional and flex track, along with a variety of #4 and #6 "snap" switches.

All kinds of engines/cars, from old 60s AHM to new Atlas.
The trackplan was totally made up as we went, not more than a oval ever ran.

At least the benchwork was solid, note shelving for power packs, etc.
No scenery or buildings ever added, after dismantling in mid-1987, the benchwork ended as a workbench in a barn.
Funny to look back 30 years, when you were younger and dumber...
Unfortunately, the beer cans and cig packs were not scenery!

I think everyone has at least one layout in their past that never got completed. You learn something from each layout, completed or not!
