I dislike the mess when cutting styrofoam sheets.  I find the heated wires too slow.  I just tried these blades from Bosch (T113A3 Knife Edge) in my Festool Jig Saw.  Absolutely no saw dust.  They are a knife blade that yield very clean, super fast styrofoam cutting. I will still use the hot knife to shape contours. But for cutting out patterns it really works well.

Buzz,

I agree totally,  I am glad you posted as I had some of these blades in U Shank, but I recently picked up a really nice Bosch 5.5 AMP heavy duty jig saw.

I have used the "knife edge blades" to cut rigid foam, homasote, and most recently some 3/8 inch thick commercial carpet tiles I installed in my train room....    It's great to have a part # for a Bosch T shank knife edge blade, these things are great.

I may be coming late to the party, but finding this thread was what I needed. I have some Styrofoam to cut indoors and wanted to avoid the mess. I went to Menards, Home Depot and Farm & Fleet and could not find these blades, also I have a Craftsman saber saw and the Bosch blades probably would not fit. I did happen to find some knife edge blades for my saw on Ebay, but thanks for the tip on the type of blade, I didn't know they existed.
