I had tried several user names, and got the same message.
I just tried yours and it did not give me that message, so the question arises: Are you a digital subscriber?
If so, then the ones that I had previously tried must not be digital subscribers.

To bad: The person that I am trying to get a hold of had a loco for sale back in May of 2018, and I have bee looking, very hard, for that very unit.
He never posted that it sold, and he seems to have not email in his profile.
Now I seem to find that he is not a digital subscriber. Maybe he is not longer a member.

I can't even find where to begin a private messages. I have both print and digital subscription.

I just went to personal settings and there is a check box for not wanting to get private messages. Maybe some turn that on............Paul 2

I saw that. What I can't find is where to compose a private message to send.

That might be my problem. I searched the site and can't find your message or notification of a message pending.

I have access to the digital subscription but no tag by my name. Don't know if that matters. Also have not received print since signing up . Going on 3 months.

GVDOBLER, I'm not sure why you didn't have the "DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER" badge on your account, but you do now. That is the key to being able to send and receive PMs here. However, your recipient must also be a Digital Subscriber.
