No TIU Power Output - Blown Fuse?

Oh Boy! isn't this a know problem that 1 out of 8 tiu may have this problem. Hope I'm wrong. I would try the channel in fixed mode before taking it apart. Menu/System/dcs set up/ select channel/ and hit fxd.

Just checked the TIU DCS release and it is version 4.30. 

Not sure what release was in the new rev L unit when I first installed it on my layout (replacing an old TIU), but out of the box it did not have power output on Variable Channel 1.  I called MTH and the technician asked me to update my remote from 2.10 to 4.3.  After updating both the remote and TIU with the latest software, the problem persists ... still cannot get output power on Variable Channel 1.

I tried the channel in the fixed mode as Gregg suggested and there was no change.

Regardless, if the channel isn't passing power, it's not the issue to which Gregg is referring. I suggest that you check the fuse.

No, it isn't.

If it was that issue, there would be power coming out of the channel's output.

Try it in fixed mode..... Maybe   the var channel just  needs setting up.

The problem was watchdog OK but no DCS signal at all. It's been fixed in DCS 4.31 beta.
