Change: Just been informed that we are now in WHITE HALL.

I saw the layout and enjoyed it a lot.  Thanks for bringing it!  I know how how it is, also belonging to a club with a traveling layout.

Thanks Jerry, when you stopped by, did you ask for me?  I arrived about 9:15 Saturday and someone was asking for me who left early Saturday.

Would have loved to speak to you in person.  You do good work.

Hi Francine, I think I was the one above who left early Saturday. I met your friends Carol and her husband at breakfast at the hotel, and they told me you wouldn't be coming until Saturday, but I had to head home. I really enjoyed your clubs' layout and stopped by a few times on Thursday and Friday.

Sorry, that wasn't me and also that I missed you!  I was so taken by the whole York experience, I completely forgot you were there.  I was there Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning, leaving around 10.  My buddy and I wanted to see the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania and the TCA museum.  We left on Sunday for our 9 hour drive back to the Detroit area.  My buddy is a 3-rail O gauge guy who was blown away by what's available in S.  Tragically, he's not changing...

I understand, I started going to York back in the Mid 90s when things were really swinging.  It can be overwhelming.

But thank you for your kind comments and stopping by.  It's nice when you meet people on the board in person - even though it doesn't seem to happen much.

The layout is only about 2 years old and is a work in progress.  Each month our dedicated group is adding more scenery and striving to finish the yard work to make a "working" layout.

I got there real early on Friday just after the opening bell so there were no trains running but I just wanted to say I enjoyed seeing your layout and I appreciate all the hard work that goes into setting up a modular layout. Thank you to you and your group. 

Thanks Phil,  I wish you would have introduced yourself to the group.  They love to talk S with others.
