I've wanted a diesel with this body style for some time now for my Holiday display, so I took a Santa Fe AA set and repainted one of the shells with a scheme inspired by the new Polar Express and some conceptual drawing from thread https://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/...orth-pole-central-f7 which is closed.

Very nice ... I wish LIONEL would produce it... It is very hard these days to get something produced. I had a pitch for them with something and we went back and forth and in the end they only wanted to produce 2 cars instead of a complete set..

Do not know why they pass on some of these ideas or creations. They should do a mock and take pre-orders ,, not enough orders cancel it .. That seems to be happening these days as it happened the last 2 catalogs they canceled items due to not enough pre-orders. Why not take the shot on it.
The project that I was working on included a celebrity and we were right there at getting it done , came back to only being able to offer two types of cars and it never went any further.
