Perhaps the mysterious World's Fair E unit might be more interesting if it could be brought to life - how about some Kodachrome footage in beautiful condition to liven things up?

On a World's Fair related video note, here's a lengthy color segment of trains from a different source (sorry, no E unit close-ups here), but nice shots of a streamlined NYC Hudson and Pennsy K-4s meeting up, the S1 on rollers, The Coronation Scot streamliner, 2 toned gray NYC streamlined cars:

Any pictures of these as they have been delivered I believe— I have the UP city of San Francisco on the way— now if GGD will do the passenger cars in the identical color I will be a happy man lol

Which train, the 8th (as delivered) the 10th the 18th or?  They are all different.  I too would want a City of San Francisco and I have spoken to Scott about it.  But it is the most complicated train to do because UP reused cars as new trains were added in addition to adding new cars.  I'd actually like a 1941 8th train (as delivered).  By 1950 the 8th train was pretty much completely different.

Honestly I’d take anything GGD would make so long as the colors match the engine—seems like getting colors right has been an issue with all manufacturers lately and it’s quite baffling— lack of QC or just a lack of attention to a key detail— a detail that really is fundamental and easy
