Lionel made what is commonly referred to as '072' curved track (w/ 6 cross-ties) catalogued as No. 760. Did Lionel make a 14" straight section (also with 6 cross-ties) and if so what was the part number? I bought some of this straight track in the 80's, but do not recall if it was stamped Lionel, K-Line, or something else.072 + straight

The O72 curves were #760 only when boxed in sets of 16.  The individual curve sections were cataloged as "761", the straights you are asking about were cataloged as "762".

K-Line cataloged the straights as K-342 or K-0342.

This answers all my questions! I wondered why I saw the '072' curved track listed as either #760 or #761.

Would you happen to know the approximate timeline that these products (Lionel and K-Line) were available?

I'm going from memory, the 760/761/762 were 1938-1942, the 760 was cataloged again about 1950.

The K-Line would need a little research, it looks like they were last cataloged in 2004.
